Mr. Jim Winfree came to Greeneville City Schools in 1962 as the band director for our Junior High School Band Program and has committed the entirety of his professional career to this community.  His love for music and the joy it has brought to his own life led Mr. and Mrs. Winfree to establish the Joy of Music Scholarships. They began by honoring a band student annually in 2022, and added a chorus student in 2023.
