COVID-19 may have caused changes to our traditional Halloween Happenings. But have no fear! The Greeneville City Schools Education Foundation, Greeneville Parks & Recreation, and Main Street Greenville have teamed up to provide a Virtual Costume Contest for 2020. Participation is free and the contest is open to children ages 12 and under, as well as families and groups. Before midnight on Halloween, snap a photo of your favorite ghoul or goblins. Share the photo via email ([email protected]) or text (423-823-0001). You must include the age category for your submission, the name of participants, and contact information used to notify winners. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: 3 and under, 4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, and family/group. Winners will be announced and notified on Monday, November 2. Please note, by submitting a photo to this contest you are granting permission for those images to be shared/published via social media, press release, and marketing materials.
